HARISH VIJ

Harish Vij is working as a Kitchen Assistant in Manovikas Charitable Society. He is an expert in his work and problem solver. He has acquired certificate in Hospitality Attendant from IGNOU Community College in 2011. He also completed his internship in different hotels and restaurants. The difficulty of intellectual disability has never been a problem to him. He received “ Best Inmate” award at Manovikas Independent Centre. He is a good sportsman. He received two gold medals in 1km race and shot-put. He also received 3 silver medals in Special Olympics at BITS, Pilani. He has participated in the Bike Marathon under Inclusive India Mission. He is also being conferred with the National Award for the year 2018 for Best Employee under the category of “Intellectual Disabilities”.
